WHAT WE DO
Our nonprofit organization is committed to nurturing future leaders by providing workshops and activities designed to develop team-building, leadership, and organizational skills.
Leadership
Interest alone in Camp Delta shows the determination to stand up to become a leader within our community. Through this four-day program, attendees will learn exactly what type of leader they are. With every exercise, their leadership skills will be tested and these young leaders will begin to see exactly what their strengths and weaknesses are.
Teamwork
Many of the workshops planned by the counselors revolve around creating trust among the family members. The teamwork activities focus on understanding roles and learning about self-limitations. Communication is an important key in team building. Attendees work together with their peers to develop plans, execute their actions, and reflect on activities for each workshop.
Organization
Attendees come from different backgrounds and are on different paths of their lives. The ten VSA's within the Gulf Coast region come together to train their leadership skills to improve their organization. Camp Delta offers activities to focus on roles, responsibilities, and expectations of officers and members of an organization.
